Nope, not venereal disease but Valentine’s Day! I hope you all had a marvelous one. The best part about V-day? It means its only 15 days until my birthday. Just sayin.

I went out to a nice dinner with my friend Ryanne and ended up at a little bar where I may or may not like the bartender (even if I can’t remember his name properly). After being joined by Tim we enjoyed a singles night out and saluted VD. Yep, that just happened.

And as I am a glutton for chick flicks, I will probably end up seeing Valentine’s Day (are you serious with that cast?). So all of you couples and singles out there, what did you do with your heart day? Remember, I love the cheese.

Camera preference?

Let’s talk digital cameras, cause my Canon finally bit the dust. Granted she was about 7 years old. We had a good time her and I but alas it is time to move on. This is where you come in. What do you recommend for a digital camera these days? I don’t need anything special just good pictures with video option. Otherwise I am not too picky and it certainly doesn’t have to be up to pro standards. Remember I am working with a budget these days.

Suggestions?

Everyone knows my obsession with teen angst driven shows (we may dedicate time to this later). This week some of those shows started back up. One Tree Hill (where they are now all grown up) is back in full effect and some great music came from the show last night. Quick synopsis is this, Haley is a character on the show who is a musician. However, in real life she actually is a musician and so they use lots of music of hers and her band Everly. Last night featured some new music and two of which I really liked. Check em out:
